Our Shop
You'll find us behind the slate-blue front on Bedwlwyn Road, where we've served Ystrad Mynach for more than twenty years. The counter runs the length of the shop: dry-aged beef, Welsh lamb, fresh poultry, and the homemade sausages people cross the valley for.
Everything gets cut to order. Ask for two chops or a whole side, ask for advice on a Sunday joint, ask us to bone, roll and stuff it while you wait. That's the job, and we love it.
The Counter
The display changes with the season and the morning's cutting. These are the staples.

Legs, shoulders, minted chops and racks. From farms close enough to visit.
Gammon joints and steaks, loin chops, belly, and bacon sliced to the thickness you ask for.
Fresh chicken by the breast, the kilo or the 5kg bag. Turkeys to order at Christmas.
Our Welsh Dragon sausages, chicken kebabs and hand-pressed burgers, made in the back room.
Stuffed, wrapped and seasoned meals ready for the tray. You take the credit.

Our packs are built for families and freezers. Contents and prices change weekly, so ring the shop or check Facebook for this week's list. Delivery is free.

Kebabs, burgers, sausages and marinated chicken. Built for a Welsh summer, rain or shine.

The Team
Same faces, same whites, same navy stripes. The team behind the counter has cut, weighed and wrapped for this town for two decades, and most customers get greeted by name before they reach the glass.
